The dialogue between cultures is very fundamental for world peace on the background of worldwide religious fanaticism. Above all literary works are considered to be the transmission of cultural values and questions as is visible in our Journal Philia. Bridges of mutual understanding and friendship between peoples and countries are established in order to avoid conflicts and crises. We present modern poetry from Greece, Germany and other countries in bilingual form for better comprehension because poems are the expressions of people of their original longing for peace, love, justice and for the stimulation of dialogues between different cultures. Our publications, film presentations, poetry readings, exhibitions and excursions serve this purpose.
